Like you, at some point in my life, I would experience episodes of gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, and diarrhea. The first thing I would normally do in this situation is reach for a cure in the medicine cabinet or get over-the-counter medications from the neighborhood drug store. These remedies, however, required several dosages before becoming effective and the cause of the symptoms were never really clear.

Until now. The real reason for your discomfort has been found to be a microscopic organism called an intestinal parasite that, in order to survive, needs to have a host to feed on. In case you were wondering, that host is you. These intestinal parasites eat when you eat and they feed on you as well. These parasites can be easily transmitted through the air, by another person, in public places, in the food we eat, and in the water we drink.

You can banish the myth that this only happens to people living in third-world countries. Information that is being developed shows that intestinal parasites live and breath among us and are becoming more common here in the U.S. on a daily basis. You could be infected with intestinal parasites at any given time of the day.

There is Good News in fighting these parasites and you can do something about it. The first thing you should do is a thorough colon cleansing. Not only will you rid yourself of these unwanted guests, but you can increase your fat loss. In addition, here are some other tips to include in keeping down further infestation:

*Wash your hands on a regular basis, both sides. You would be surprised how much parasites enjoy residing on the back of your hands and between your fingers.

* Bath on a regular basis and keep your neck and fingernails clean.

*Take the time to thoroughly brush your teeth and gums - a minimum of 10 minutes.

* Get in the habit of cleaning your tongue. Even the best mouthwash will not eliminate all of the parasites hiding out there.

* Keep your feet clean as well as your toenails. This is very important as fungus can and will build up in your nail beds if not kept clean on a frequent basis.

*After handling any type of meat, wash your hands.

*Wash your fresh vegetables and fruit before serving them to family and friends.

We have only cracked the surface on this topic. There is so much more to learn about the various type of parasites that dwell inside each and every one of us. Needless to say, the intestinal parasites that infiltrate the digestive tract are not in a hurry to leave unless you take action. I hope that you are beginning to realize that your digestive tract has a lot to do with how you feel and your ability to function effectively.
